Dr. Elizabeth Wakim — known to patients as Dr. Liza — founded Enhanced Wellness with a single conviction: that dentistry done right is about the whole person, not just the teeth. Over 15 years and 30,000+ procedures later, that conviction shows up in every appointment, every conversation, and every treatment plan she builds.
After earning her dental degree, Dr. Wakim pursued advanced training at the world-renowned Pankey Institute in Biscayne, Florida — an institution that trains dentists not just in clinical technique, but in how to build genuine, lasting relationships with patients. It shaped the way she practices dentistry to this day. The key to a meaningful practice, as the Pankey philosophy holds, is understanding what each patient actually values — then building care around that.
Dr. Wakim expanded her scope well beyond traditional dentistry when she became certified through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) in Botox and dermal filler injections — bringing aesthetic injectables under the same roof as comprehensive dental care. She then invested in Fotona laser technology, one of the most advanced platforms in dental and aesthetic medicine, to offer treatments like SmoothLase, LipLase, NeckLase, and NightLase® — non-surgical procedures that most practices in the region don't offer at all.

Dr. Kelli Brooks brings exceptional clinical skill, a genuine warmth with patients, and a commitment to lifelong learning that goes well beyond the minimum. She joined Enhanced Wellness because the practice's mission aligned with what she already believed dentistry should be — compassionate, comprehensive, and constantly evolving.
Dr. Brooks graduated with honors from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2017, where she was recognized for both clinical excellence and leadership. During dental school she held leadership roles in the American Student Dental Association, participated in community outreach, and graduated into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honorary — one of the most prestigious recognitions in dentistry. She was also the recipient of the Academy of General Dentistry Award, the Dentsply Merit Award in Removable Prosthodontics, and the GlaxoSmithKline Case Presentation Award.
After graduation, Dr. Brooks entered private practice in West Virginia, where she became an active member of the West Virginia Dental Association and served as Past-President of the Wheeling District. In 2023, she was honored with induction into the International College of Dentists — a recognition reserved for dentists who have demonstrated exceptional contributions to the profession and their community.
Dr. Brooks doesn't stop learning. She's an active member of Spear Education and CDOCS, two of the most respected continuing education platforms in dentistry, and volunteers her time at Wheeling Healthright and teaches WVU dental students as a rural faculty member. She's completed professional training in both Invisalign clear aligners and facial injectables — making her a natural fit for Enhanced Wellness's comprehensive, whole-patient approach to care.
